Stabilizers in Polymers/Plastics are used directly or in combinations with other Chemicals, to prevent the various effects such as oxidation, chain scission and uncontrolled recombinations and cross-linking reactions. These effects may be caused by photo-oxidation of polymers. Polymers are considered to get weathered due to the direct or indirect impact of heat and ultraviolet light.

The effectiveness of the stabilizers against weathering depends on solubility, ability to stabilize in different polymer matrix, the distribution in matrix, evaporation loss during processing and use. The effect on the viscosity is also an important concern for processing. Heat stabilizers are mainly used for construction products made of polyvinyl chloride, for instance window profiles, pipes and cable ducts. Because of Environmental Concern Calcium Zinc Stabilizers are increasingly replacing Lead Based stabilizers. For European & American Market we have launched ‘Lead Free’ Ca/Zn Stabilizers.

Aluminum Silicate is chemically denoted as Al2SiO3 & is commonly used as filler in Paints. This also exhibits anti settling properties in paint. As this is rich in Silica compound so this is also used as semi reinforcing agent in rubber.

• As Active zinc oxide has higher surface area than zinc oxide white seal which results in rubber mixtures a reduction of the dosage level up to 15-20% as compared to zinc oxide-white seal.
• As Compared to zinc oxide white seal, Zinc Oxide -Active particle size is 10 times less (in microscope). This helps in homogenous mixing & thus dispersed completely. It also provides brighter and smoother surface results for the end-product. As its particle size is smaller than wavelength of light, it would not discolor after dying. It makes its color deeper and brighter. It gives excellent results in transparent goods.
• Its heavy metal proportion is approximately 5-8 times less than zinc oxide white seal.
• As its bulk density is much lower than zinc oxide white seal, it enables to produce lighter products at the same density. As the rubber products are sold by volume and number, so it is possible to produce at higher numbers of articles by using same weight of Zinc Oxide Active.
• Our Zinc Oxide Active also supplements the Reinforcing pattern of the product. It gives vulcanizates high tensile strength and rebound resilience with a simultaneous increase in hardness. According to the compared test results, fatigue cracking resistance of activated zinc oxide plates gives much better results.
• As it can be seen through the Rheometer curves, that Depending on the type and amount of accelerator present, they can considerably delay the onset of cure without simultaneously extending the total curing time. It retards scorching; provides process safety and flexibility; decreases scorching wastage.

Zinc Stearate (C17 H35 COO)2 Zn is is a soft, fine fluffy free flowing bulky powder having characteristic odor. Zinc soap repels water.

We are manufacturing this via precipitation /Direct process using high quality stearic acid. During manufacturing, the particle size, shape, Bulk Density, and purity is closely controlled to ensure product quality & uniformity.

Zinc Stearate is insoluble in polar solvents, such as alcohol and ether but soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g., benzene and chlorinated hydrocarbons) when heated. It is the most powerful mould releasing agent among all metal soaps. It contains no electrolyte and has a hydrophobic effect.
