Emulsifiers are surface-active agents, capable of reducing the surface tension of a liquid in which it is dissolved, and promotes the formation of an emulsion. An emulsifier consists of a water-loving hydrophilic head and an oil-loving hydrophobic tail. The hydrophilic head is directed to the aqueous phase and the hydrophobic tail to the oil phase. The emulsifier positions itself at the oil/water or air/water interface and, by reducing the surface tension, has a stabilising effect on the emulsion.

Emulsifiers are produced as per requirement of different systems, which are required to be emulsified. During manufacturing, we take due care for optimizing HLB value, Cloud points and stability and compatibility of Anionic & Nonionic Emulsifier systems with each.
